San Francisco, July 29, 2016: POPSUGAR, the #1 millennial lifestyle brand for women, today announced that POPSUGAR Studios, the video production arm of POPSUGAR Inc., will launch a new scripted online comedy, All My Friends Are Getting Married, on July 29. The six-episode series, starring AJ Michalka (currently starring on ABC's The Goldbergs; film credits include The Lovely Bones, Secretariat, and J.J. Abrams/Steven Spielberg film Super 8 ), is coproduced by Above Average. The series was created by former Above Average head writer Celeste Ballard (current writer on MTV's Sweet/Vicious, former head writer for Above Average).

All My Friends Are Getting Married is about celebrating your friends' lives while figuring out what's happening with your own. The series follows Chloé (Michalka) and her friends — three very different brides — as they jump through the hoops of the wedding season circus, with varying degrees of dignity and grace. Storylines include: the bridal shower, the engagement photo shoot, picking out wedding invitations, and, of course, the wedding. The series will be available on POPSUGAR as well as across POPSUGAR's social media channels, including YouTube and Facebook.

POPSUGAR Studios has partnered with Chevy Cruze as the series sponsor. Additionally, the 2016 Chevy Cruze will be integrated into the show as Chloé's official mode of transportation as she embarks on her matrimonial adventures.

All My Friends Are Getting Married is the latest addition to POPSUGAR's video lineup. POPSUGAR Studios is a pioneer and leader in digital video, and it is the #1 producer of original online video lifestyle content. POPSUGAR Studios content garnered over 250M monthly video views in June 2016, and it has been quick to innovate on platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube.

"With a monthly audience of 100 million globally, we have huge insights into the interests and concerns of young women, and together with our partners Above Average, we have created an original series that speaks to young women with a perfect mix of comedy, relationship entanglements, and flat-out funny," said David Grant, president of POPSUGAR Studios.

"After the success of our first series together, Seriously Distracted, we were thrilled to have yet another opportunity to team up with POPSUGAR Studios," said Jennifer Danielson, president of Above Average. "With a writing staff that organically includes strong female voices, we know how to write comedy that resonates especially well with young women. We are confident that All My Friends Are Getting Married is a great fit for POPSUGAR's huge millennial female audience, as well as for comedy-lovers in general."
