The six-episode series, starring AJ Michalka (currently starring on ABC's The Goldbergs; film credits include The Lovely Bones, Secretariat, and J.J. Abrams/Steven Spielberg film Super 8 ), is coproduced by Above Average. The series was created by former Above Average head writer Celeste Ballard (current writer on MTV's Sweet/Vicious, former head writer for Above Average).
All My Friends Are Getting Married is about celebrating your friends' lives while figuring out what's happening with your own. The series follows Chloé (Michalka) and her friends — three very different brides — as they jump through the hoops of the wedding season circus, with varying degrees of dignity and grace. Storylines include: the bridal shower, the engagement photo shoot, picking out wedding invitations, and, of course, the wedding. The series will be available on POPSUGAR as well as across POPSUGAR's social media channels, including YouTube and Facebook.
POPSUGAR Studios has partnered with Chevy Cruze as the series sponsor. Additionally, the 2016 Chevy Cruze will be integrated into the show as Chloé's official mode of transportation as she embarks on her matrimonial adventures.
All My Friends Are Getting Married is the latest addition to POPSUGAR's video lineup.
